Strategic Advisory

A strategy that sits in a document is not a strategy. We get you to the decision.

We help clients reach the decision that matters: what they are committing to, and whether the conditions for that commitment to hold have been built. Most strategy work produces analysis; we produce a position we will defend at the board table and stand behind as conditions change.

Who engages this

CEOs at a genuine inflection point, boards stalled after multiple strategy processes, founders positioning a business before a transaction, and family groups deciding how to allocate capital across a portfolio engage this pillar. In healthcare, that often means an operator choosing between multi-specialty breadth and focused-specialty depth, or a group weighing a new emirate against consolidation of the sites it already runs.

The work

What this practice takes on.

01

Corporate & Business Unit Strategy

Structural diagnosis and a committed recommendation, not five weighted options.

02

GCC Market Entry & Expansion

Entry-model design, regulatory roadmap, and a five-year financial model.

03

IPO & Investor Readiness

18-point assessment and a 12–24 month readiness programme for DFM and ADX.

04

ESG & Sustainability Strategy

Materiality-led ESG frameworks aligned to ISSB and GCC investor requirements.

05

Public Sector & PPP Advisory

Feasibility, structure, and lender-grade financial models for GCC PPPs.

On a mandate

A regional healthcare operator was performing but drifting, spread thin across specialties that masked which units earned their return. Our diagnostic separated the departments carrying the group from those it was subsidising. The operator repositioned from multi-specialty to focused-specialty over 14 months, reallocating capital out of the underperforming units to fund expansion in the target segment.

Questions

What clients ask first.

Do you just give us options, or a recommendation?

A recommendation. We map the credible paths, name the risks, and state the conditions under which we would be wrong. Then we give our view in writing. If you want five balanced options and no position, we are the wrong firm.

How long does a strategy diagnostic take?

The diagnostic runs three weeks for most corporate mandates and as little as ten days for a bounded market-entry question. Nothing moves to positioning until the diagnostic is signed off.

When should we start IPO preparation for a DFM or ADX listing?

18 to 24 months before you intend to list. Both exchanges require a three-year audited IFRS track record; the governance, narrative, and ESG baseline that earn a premium multiple are built in that window, not during the transaction.

Strategic mandates begin with a direct conversation with a principal.

Engagement · Limited mandates

Choosing who advises you is itself a strategic decision.

We take a limited number of mandates at any time. If you are working a decision that needs independent counsel, start with a conversation.
